Year 3 students explore 3D objects
The Year 3s have been learning about 3D objects and their properties and have been demonstrating their learning in lots of different ways. Year 3s went on a 3D object hunt around St Anthony’s, they found lots of different objects around the school including cylinders, prisms and spheres.
They also demonstrated their patience and perseverance, sticking small sticks together to make different 3D objects. They then identified the numbers of faces, edges and vertices of these objects. The Year 3s made different 3D objects like pyramids, prisms and cubes. Some of the 3D objects even surprised the teachers, with Mrs Darling and Mrs John saying how amazed they were that some students made hexagonal prisms.
Well done Year 3s on your amazing learning.
