This week we celebrate and recognise an important event ‘National Child Protection Week’.
National Child Protection Week raises awareness about the community’s collective response to the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people, now and into the future.
In 2024, National Child Protection Week will continue to champion the message ‘Every child in every community needs a fair go’ and complement it with the theme ‘Every conversation matters’.
Conversations are powerful tools to keep children and young people safe and well. They help schools and communities understand issues, craft solutions, and empower children and young people. This year’s theme provides a platform to engage in important conversations.
