Year 3
The Year 3’s have been learning about Jesus’ Commandment ‘Love One Another’ and how Mary MacKillop lived this in her life. Troubie Theatre Company performed a play about the life of Mary MacKillop for our year 3 students.
The play was funny, entertaining and involved the children in some acting. Young Mary’s humour and compassion helped the children enjoy and understand her life and leads to an appreciation of Mary’s famous quote; “Never see a need without trying to do something about it.”
