Lest We Forget
Once again, St Anthony’s staff and students honoured those who died while fighting for their country. On Saturday, November 11th, our year 6 leaders attended the Melton War Memorial commemoration service, where they laid a wreath in memory of our fallen soldiers.
During Friday’s assembly, classes 2 Hodge and 2 John also spoke beautifully about the poppy and the ways in which we remember. At the conclusion of the assembly, the students observed a minute of silence as the Last Post was played.
