Year 3
Over the past two weeks during Religious Education lessons, our Year Three students have been exploring the differences between, and making connections to, the Sacraments of Initiation in our Catholic tradition and initiation practices in other cultures.
We were blessed with two very special guest speakers who are well known within our St. Anthony’s community. Mr Alier came to speak to us about the Dinka practices and Miss Sibia spoke to us about practices within the Burmese culture.
Our students responded respectfully and had many questions and wonderings about these practices. We would like to thank Mr Alier and Miss Sibia for their generosity of time and for sharing their knowledge with us.
