Year 2 Excursion
On Thursday, October 12th, Grade 2 students visited Werribee Mansion to explored what life was like back in the 1800s. Students took part in a tour that contrasted their lifestyles with those of the Chirnside family and the Mansion’s servants. They compared 1800s dress and equipment to their own life today, and they explored Werribee Mansion’s historical grounds. They had the experience of washing laundry without electricity and absolutely loved washing clothing by hand.
