Year 6
Our Year 6 Mixed Volleyball Team competed at the State Titles last Friday. They lost the opening game and seemed a little nervous but they were able to regroup and play the style we have seen them play throughout the entire series, winning the following two games to advance to the State Finals. Despite losing in a very close second set, the children played with great energy and teamwork, placing third overall – still a tremendous accomplishment. Many thanks to all the students who contributed to the mixed volleyball team, you have made our community extremely proud. This is the farthest any St. Anthony’s Sports Team has come in more than a decade.
We also take the opportunity to congratulate our Girls Volleyball Team who also qualified for regionals as well. Even though they were unable to advance, they performed at a very competitive level. Great job, girls!
