Last weekend some of our Year 3 students participated in the Sacrament of Eucharist.
We would like to congratulate these students as they have dedicated themselves to preparing for this special day. The Sacrament of Eucharist is where the students receive the body and blood of Jesus Christ for the first time. Students participating in the Sacrament of Eucharist were given the opportunity to further explore the Sacrament and reflected on the importance of this day in their faith journey through a retreat day at school.
We would like to thank everyone involved who helped organise and manage this special occasion. Thank you to our RE Leader Kathryn Martin, our Year 3 teachers Kristie Bairstow, Eleisha Dennis, Karin Alexander, Blake Allison, Jess Longden, and Tania Cahill for preparing and guiding our students in their religious journey.
We were blessed to have the St. Anthony’s/St. Lawrence Choir performed for our three masses. They sang beautifully and reverently throughout and we are very proud. Thank you to the students and the families that support our choir students through their weekly practice and attending the masses.
Finally, we would like to thank all the Eucharist students involved. The day was a huge success and huge congratulations for all your hard work and dedication, you should all be very proud.
